Bom dia galera, take a look na pesquisa do RAIURE do 9A

Technologies of the Future: Home Automation and Internet of Things The platform was designed not to stifle technological innovation, not impose restrictions on future technologies, not yet imagined. Smart homes require electronic equipment and appliances that, while not a masterpiece in terms of IQ, at least be able to converse with each other. This begins to become possible, thanks to the work of a consortium of companies and research institutions in Europe. They built an intermediate layer of software and hardware - a middleware - that enables sensors and equipment from several manufacturers to exchange data and operate cooperatively. Future technologies Most of the proposed homes and smart buildings presupposes the existence of capabilities built into household appliances - the television and the refrigerator until the heating, lighting and air conditioning - that make them able to communicate with each other, preferably by through wireless networks. This interconnection will allow for operation in conjunction to increase the comfort and welfare of residents and, above all, save the most energy. But how different devices using different technologies manufactured by different companies at different times, could communicate with each other? One way would be to insist that all devices are manufactured in accordance with some agreed standard, nationally or internationally. But that would be too complex and time consuming, and apply only to new appliances. This also could stifle technological innovation, to impose restrictions on future technologies, not yet imagined. Internet of Things A much better way, say researchers from the Hydra project is to develop a middleware layer, oriented to the service being provided, and that can be used flexibly by the manufacturers. "This will help manufacturers, software developers and system integrators to build devices and equipment that can be networked with ease and flexibility through web services, creating high-performance solutions and excellent relations between cost and efficiency," explains Markus Eisenhauer, project manager. With the layer Hydra, all types of appliances, including electric meters, water or gas, not just the equipment for internal use of smart home, can be interconnected without the need to know what happens inside them. In principle, any device can connect Hydra to any other, bringing much-touted "Internet of things" a little closer to reality.
